How Does The Non-Academic Misconduct Process Begin?
Any person may file a complaint against a student for violation of the Student Code of Conduct. The complaint should be sent to OSI using the incident referral form. An OSI staff member may contact you during the investigation of the case for more information and to keep a relevant party updated, when necessary. The complaint should be submitted as soon as possible after the event takes place or when it is reasonably discovered, no later than thirty (30) business days following the discovery of the incident. In extraordinary circumstances, OSI may waive this timeline. Complaints are also generated from various departments and offices. These departments include but are not limited to: Georgia Tech Police Department, Office of Information Technology, Housing Department, and the Office of Parking and Transportation.
