national hazing prevention week

September 25-29, 2023

Georgia Tech is proud to participate in National Hazing Prevention Week 2023 (NHPW). NHPW was developed to bring communities together to combat hazing across college campuses, and a diversity of Georgia Tech units and departments are uniting in a collaborative project to raise awareness about the problem of hazing, to advocate for hazing prevention, and to recognize those who are leading the way in those efforts on campus.

UPDATE: We are excited to share that a new documentary, HAZING, by filmmaker Byron Hurt, will be made available to view from September 25 through October 8, 2023,  thanks to STOPHAZING and Media Education Foundation. Learn more on their website.

Resources to learn about hazing, including how to identify it, getting support in calling it out, and consequences for engaging in it, are always available.
