Join Georgia Tech in kicking off National Hazing Prevention Week—stop by our table to be featured in the anti-hazing pledge video, learn how to spot red flags, grab free swag, and show your support for a safer, stronger Yellow Jacket community!

Lights, Camera, Leadership: Hazing & Integrity Movie Night Experience

 

Tuesday, Sept. 22
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. 
Walter G Ehmer Theater (Atlantic), John Lewis Student Center

A screening of the movie Hazing, a 2022 film reveals the traditional of underground rituals that are abusive and sometimes deadly. After the movie, stay for the lively discussions and the free food. 

Come right at 6 p.m. for the snack bar and to snap a photo with Buzz to #SwarmAgainstHazing!

The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways is excited to present an event that helps students create a personalized Leadership Code of Conduct, defining values and principles for ethical leadership at Georgia Tech and beyond. 

 

Belonging Without Harm: Stop Hazing in Campus Culture

Southern Company Multicultural Lounge

As part of National Hazing Prevention Week, this dialogue-based program invites Georgia Tech students to engage in meaningful conversations about what it means to build community, develop lasting friendships, and foster organizational pride without causing harm. A panel discussion with feature students and staff members with representation from the NPHC, MGC, IFC, and Panhellenic Councils. Facilitated small groups will also feature round table discussions offering participants the opportunity to build community and formulate strategies aimed at preventing hazing on campus. Free food and giveaways.

Show the Yellow Jacket community that together, we #SwarmAgainstHazing! Drop by the Student Center Hub to help create an epic banner that will carry your anti-hazing message. Student athletes and members of fraternities, sororities, clubs, and organizations are invited to the banner that will be combined into one artwork showing our united front. Help spread awareness and help make a difference.
