In compliance with the Georgia SB 85 "Max Gruver Act," beginning July 1, 2021, Georgia Tech will publicly disclose administrative adjudications of hazing or hazing-related convictions. This information will be posted within 15 calendar days of final adjudication or public notice of conviction and remain posted for a period of not less than five years. Records will include the name of any school organization involved, the date(s) of occurrence, and a description of specific hazing-related findings, sanctions, adjudications, and convictions for any person or school organization.
Additionally, as required by the “Stop Campus Hazing Act,” effective January 1, 2025, Georgia Tech will collect statistics on hazing incidents, which will be published within the Campus Hazing Transparency Report (CHTR). This report will include all data points gathered in accordance with the “Max Gruver Act,” as well as the date on which the investigation was initiated; the date the investigation concluded; and the date the student organization was provided notice that a hazing violation occurred. The CHTR will be made available beginning July 1, 2025, and will be updated twice a year. Hazing-related incidents will also be included in Georgia Tech’s Annual Security Report (ASR) beginning in 2026.

Theta Xi

Disciplinary Probation means that the Student has been found responsible for violating the Institute’s Policy. Disciplinary Probation is for a specified period of time. Any further disciplinary violation may result in disciplinary action up to and including Expulsion.
Pi Kappa Phi
- Hazing.
- Furnishing false information to any Institute Official.
Suspension means that a Registered Student Organization shall suspend and disband as a recognized student organization immediately and lose all rights and privileges associated with being a Georgia Tech Registered Student Organization (including, but not limited to, reserving rooms/space on campus; hosting social functions, receptions, and events; co- hosting social functions, receptions, and events; participation in intramural sports as an organization; conducting retreats; community service; and philanthropic events). The Institute will withdraw recognition of the Registered Student Organization for the duration of the suspension. Any further disciplinary violation may result in disciplinary action up to and including Expulsion.
Chi Phi
- Hazing.

- Distribution of alcohol to underage person(s).
